Constitution & By Laws

✔️ To promote the knowledge, research, study, awareness of all aspects of peripheral nerves, including brachial plexus, lumbar plexus and all the other peripheral nerves in the body.

✔️ To start multidisciplinary approach in the treatment of peripheral nerve lesions including neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, hand surgeons and physiotherapists.

✔️ To bring neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, hand surgeons and physiotherapists under one forum so as to have a multidisciplinary approach for the treatment of various peripheral nerve lesions.

✔️ To spread knowledge & update regarding this subject to various medical practitioners, related to the field of peripheral nerves.

✔️ To carry out and promote research in the field of peripheral nerve lesions.

✔️ To organise regional, national and international seminars, CMEs, conferences symposiums, workshops, in the field of peripheral nerve lesions for medical students, faculty, consultants & practitioners.

✔️ To create national and international consensus and guidelines regarding management protocols, in various peripheral nerve lesions.

✔️ To spread awareness, knowledge and information of various diseases pertaining to the subject of peripheral nerve among public via creating or promoting various public awareness groups, public awareness programmes.

✔️ To create funds for society from individuals, NGO’s, companies and government organisations for:

• Conducting and promoting research, multicentric trials.

• Organising regional, national and international seminars, CMEs, conferences symposiums, workshops.

• Travelling of faculties for exchange of academic knowledge, interchange of research plans, holding meetings for preparation of guidelines, at the regional, national and international level related to the field of peripheral nerve lesions.

• Conducting public forums, promoting public support groups to spread awareness.

✔️ To create or promote various special public support groups, patient groups for various diseases related to the field of peripheral nerves.

✔️ To establish educational, professional and training institutes in the chosen field of the Society.

✔️ To offer a platform from where knowledge, guidelines, recommendations can be disseminated. Society will support publication of newsletter / journal / update related to subject.

✔️ To create a website to spread knowledge, create awareness and solve various queries from patients or practitioners pertaining to the field of peripheral nerves.

✔️ To promote sub-speciality of peripheral nerve clinics in institute and national capital region.

✔️ To exchange views, ideas and treatment policies at the regional, national and international level by affiliating to various societies working in the similar field and by exchange of the professionals and experts between societies.

✔️ To collaborate with local, national and international organisations and establishments whether governmental agencies or NGOs, working for similar objectives in whatever way found suitable for the achievement of the objectives of the Society and to receive grants from such organisations or to provide them financial assistance as per norms.

✔️ To prepare, print and publish books, pamphlets, periodicals, souvenir, newsletters, audio-visual materials, websites, etc. on the themes central to the programmes and activities of the Society and disseminate them among interested circle.

✔️ To undertake any other activity incidental to the achievement of the objectives of the Society and which the Society may find useful.

Note: The income and property of the Society, however, derived shall be applied towards the promotion of the objects thereof as set forth in this memorandum of association no portion of the income and property of the Society shall be paid or transferred, directly or indirectly by way of dividends, bonus or otherwise howsoever by way of profit to the persons who at any time are or have been members of the Society or to any of them or to any persons claiming through them or any of them provided that nothing herein contained shall prevent the payment in good faith or remuneration of any member thereof or other persons in return for any service rendered to the Society. However, the full time office bearer of the Society shall be paid salary as decided by the Executive Committee. No member of the Society shall have personal claim on any movable or immoveable properties of the Society or make any profits whatsoever by virtue of his/her membership.
